GenieTools ("we," "our," or "us") operates genietools.app (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.
1. Your Images Stay on Your Device
All image processing on GenieTools happens entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly and the Canvas API. Your photos, images, and files are never uploaded to our servers. We do not store, transmit, or have access to any images you process on this Site.
2. Information We Collect
We collect limited, non-personal information automatically when you visit the Site:
Usage Data (via Google Analytics)
Pages visited, time on page, browser type, device type, country/region, and referral source. This data is anonymized and aggregated. We use it to understand which tools and content are most useful.
Log Data
Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages requested. These logs are retained for a short period for security and debugging purposes.
Cookies
We use cookies set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense. See Section 5 for details.

We do not store your images or files — they never reach our servers. Anonymized analytics data retained by Google Analytics follows Google's standard retention periods (up to 26 months). Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.
